Veteran players may be disappointed to realize that some of the new monsters appear to be mere reskins of existing mobs, in this case those from the plagued group:
In addition to the above screenshots, a mysterious countdown timer has been posted by the staff ofGameforge's flagship
Metin2 DE server, which will expire sometime around Thursday October 20th 2011.
The countdown timer is labeled "Project X", and the publisher is keeping tight wraps on what it's for. The CoMas and [CM]s we talked to apparently don't yet know what it is. Our guess is that the countdown is likely related to the Catacomb, either as a release date or perhaps for the opening of another public test server. What do you think?
