You may remember from our last update about the Devil's Catacomb that Gameforge had posted up a mysterious countdown ending on October 20th, titled simply "Project X". Amid all the news about the catacomb we guessed this might have something to do with the catacomb update, but it now turns out the it pertains to a different update - pets!

Pets are not a complete surprise, as the YMIR Development Plan that was leaked via Metin2 SG back in April makes a few mentions of pets. To jog your memory, here is the relevant slide:

The method of acquiring the pets may seem a little strange, but here goes: those interested must buy a copy of Metin2 from Amazon. Along with their own physical copy of Metin2, players will also receive a coupon which will allow them to own a pet in the game. Unlike recent disappointments with "temporary updates", the pets are permanent.

The game as ordered from Amazon costs €10.99, though the coupon inside is redeemable for €25 in the item shop. The coupon also allows entry into Gameforge's older Metin2 DE servers, Carthage and Mosha. These older servers have long since been closed to new registrations, and as such are bot-free environments.

The box cover refers to a "Fire Phoenix"; we're not sure if there will be additional pets. Unfortunately, we can't show you any screenshots of what the pet(s) may look like ingame either, though there is a pre-rendered image available:

There are still 30 days until the project goes live, though you should expect to see more images and information as October 20th draws nearer.

New Devil's Catacomb Details, Possible Release Date?

"More information continues to become available about the new devil's catacomb update, this time with some more full size screenshots and a possible release date.

  

Veteran players may be disappointed to realize that some of the new monsters appear to be mere reskins of existing mobs, in this case those from the plagued group:

   

In addition to the above screenshots, a mysterious countdown timer has been posted by the staff ofGameforge's flagship Metin2 DE server, which will expire sometime around Thursday October 20th 2011.

The countdown timer is labeled "Project X", and the publisher is keeping tight wraps on what it's for. The CoMas and [CM]s we talked to apparently don't yet know what it is. Our guess is that the countdown is likely related to the Catacomb, either as a release date or perhaps for the opening of another public test server. What do you think?

Probleme temporare

Se pare ca exista niste probleme la metin2 ro si din aceasta cauza optiunea "Recruteaza Prieteni" va fi
dezactivata.

Iata ce ne scrie badidol de pe forumul metin2 ro :

Azi mam uitat pe forum si am vazut ceva nou priviti si voi
se pare ca [GA]Maiunet își face treaba mai ca niciodată
iată ce ne zice ia pe forum :

Săptămâna asta a adus cateva schimbari.

Azi a fost rezolvat bugul cu misiunea de level 22 de la Gardian (fratele bolnav). Nu ar trebui sa mai aveti probleme acum

De asemenea probabil îți observat noua adiție a jocului nostru, recrutarea unui prieten. Probabil va întrebați despre ce este vorba, asa ca va voi oferi câteva informații despre asta:

Recrutarea prietenilor:

* Poti recruta maxim 5 prieteni
* Pe site, dupa login este un nou buton in partea dreapta, 'Recruteaza prieteni"
* Daca faci click pe acest buton iti va da un cod generat.
* Poti trimite acest cod prin Facebook sau Twitter prietenilor tai. Daca ai mai mult de level 30, poti trimite acest cod si prin email. Bineinteles ca poți lua un email care nu are nimic de-a face cu contul tau!
* Prietenul tău acum poate introduce acest cod la înregistrare. Dupa asta va fi pe lista ta de "Recrutează prieteni" (de pe site).
* Pe aceasta lista poți vedea de asemenea activitatea prietenilor tai (Rosu = nu a mai intrat de 7 zile, portocaliu = online in ultimele 7 zile, verde = online în ultimele 2 zile. Doar logarea contează)
* Poti scoate un prieten din lista ta, dar oferta de bonus se oprește pentru amândoi.
* Daca un prieten rămâne inactiv vei primi un email.
* Oferta de bonus se încheie când prietenul tău ajunge la level 90 si atunci va fi scos de pe lista ta.
* Poti gasi oferta de bonus pe site, dupa logare. De acolo poti trimite itemele pe unul din serverele tale.
* Livrarea va dura putin, maxim 2 ore.

Level 50 → 10x Tickete de trecere

Level 60 → 2x Oasele degetului* & 2x Scoici*

Level 70 → 2x Perle* (rosie, alba sau albastra aleatoriu)

Level 90 → Armura de 67 +3

Manao și Yahiko nu mai fac parte din echipa Metin2 RO.
Deci de acum or ce ar spune acesti 2 player de exemplu : ban , kick , change level. Nu mai are niciun efect.

Se spune ca in curand ne vom putea creia caracterele online casa fie mai usor.
dar asta după ce am confirmat email-ul dar se para ca e un zvon pana acum în curând vom veni cu mai multe informații.

Se pare ca sunt niste probleme la clientul de metin2 ro.
 Iata ce ne spune badidol de pe forumul metin2 ro :

"In case you experience problems with the new launcher while using Windows XP the following steps can help to solve the problem:

1. Restart your system
2. Install Service Pack 3 and Framework 4
3. Restart your system
4. Check, if Metin2 is white listed in the Firewall and Antivirus
5. Check, if no other Metin2 tasks are working ( Taskmanager )
6. Delete cache and cookies in the IE
7. Start Metin2 as Admin

Iar acumin romana :

Daca aveți probleme cu noul launcher și folosiți Windows XP iata pasi care trebuie urmati pentru a rezolva problema :

1.Dati un restart la calculator
2.Instalați Service Pack 3 si Framework 4
3.Restart la calculator
4.verificati daca aveti permisiunea de la Firewall si de la anti-virus pentru metin2
5.Deschideți Task Manager și verificați dacă nu mai este deschis o data jocul
6.Ștergeți cache-urile și cookies de la Internet Explore
7.Deschideti metin2 ca admin

Sper sa va meargă.
